Doug Hutchinson, CFA®
Director of Research and Trading
Doug works as the Director of Research and Trading at Assembly, where he provides market intelligence by studying macro trends, assessing investment opportunities, and implementing sound investment strategies. Prior to joining Assembly, he managed institutional portfolios, and achieved the CFA charter after completing hundreds of hours of intense study.
Doug enjoys helping clients execute their charitable giving strategies to give back to their communities and designing personalized solutions to meet client's unique objectives.
Outside of work, Doug enjoys exploring the best of the Bay Area, including hiking trails, just like his grandfather who helped build the Golden Gate Bridge. He’s a huge Bay Area sports fan (Go Giants! Go 49ers!) and travels to Scottsdale for Giants spring training each year. Anyone who visits the office can admire his growing collection of San Francisco Giants bobbleheads.
Doug graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a B.A. in Business Economics. He is a CFA® Charterholder and an active member of the CFA® Society of San Francisco.
