Valerie De Vol, IACCP®

President and Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) 

Valerie is the driving force behind Assembly, serving as its President and Chief Compliance Officer (CCO). Her unwavering commitment is to empower every client with a sense of purpose, fulfillment and care. Putting client interests at the forefront is the bedrock of Assembly's ethos. Whether strategically selecting technologies to enhance the client journey or steering the company's vision, Valerie thrives on enabling her team to continuously improve and grow along their unique career paths, while ensuring clients receive the highest standard of care. 

Passionate about community collaboration, Valerie actively works towards educating, inspiring, and fostering the exchange of ideas. Outside of work, she enjoys trying new recipes in the kitchen, discovering local wineries, and savoring oysters on Tomales Bay.

Growing up helping at her grandparents' antique shop in Phoenix, Valerie has a keen eye for vintage finds and continually evolves her home decor. Her travels often lead her to walkable cities, where she spends the day visiting art galleries and museums. She can be found supporting live music around the Bay Area with her husband, Billy, who runs an after school music program for kids but also finds time to relax at home with her Abyssinian cat, Siouxsie. 

A leader at our firm since 2005, Valerie began her journey in financial services in 1998 at Peacock Hislop in Phoenix, AZ. She obtained her IACCP® (Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional) Designation in 2008.
